Research and interviews in three Swedish ecovillages: Suderbyn, a permaculture community founded near Visby, Gotland, in 2008; Tuggelite near Karlstad, Sweden’s oldest ecovillage, founded in 1984 and organized as a housing cooperative; and Hällby near Uppsala, a housing cooperative community established in 2000.
